Pedagogical Vaulting

In vaulting, children and ‘their’ horse literally team up. The horse is a full team member, to be respected at all times, in every way. The children learn to move around the horse in a completely safe and responsible way. They do all sorts of exercises and activities on and around the horse that help them develop physical, mental and social skills.

Vaulting is challenging in many ways: it stimulates children to develop flexibility, strength, timing, balance and coordination. It also stimulates verbal communication and relational abilities, because during vaulting children are always asked to help each other and their horse.

Vaulting is also lots of fun for all involved, children ánd their horse. Vaulting is suitable for all children, from the age of 3-4 years.
